Belma Barut Primary School

As a company with unwavering support for education, we opened the Belma Barut Primary School on our 100th anniversary. Belma Barut, after whom the school was named, was the mother of Abdi İbrahim Chairman Nezih Barut and Abdi İbrahim Deputy Chairperson Nesrin Barut Esirtgen, and made significant contributions to the corporate development of Abdi İbrahim while also volunteering in educational activities. The school was built in Esenyurt, Istanbul in 2013, and donated to the Ministry of Education.

The Belma Barut Primary School welcomes approximately 3,000 students, and we at Abdi İbrahim conducted a comprehensive survey in 2022 to identify and address the school's most basic needs.

Focusing on innovations that will benefit both our students and teachers, we completed the renovation works at the school within a month. In doing so, we enabled the students to start the new academic year in a brand-new environment.
