About The House Of Kindness

The House of Kindness Project, initiated by the Abdi Ibrahim Foundation, is dedicated to supporting families whose children are undergoing cancer treatment in Istanbul. Understanding the challenges faced by families from rural parts of Türkiye, who often lack financial resources during their child's treatment, this project aims to provide a compassionate solution.

Through the House of Kindness Project, we offer a safe and welcoming environment where these families can stay with their child aged 2-15 and citizens of the Republic of Türkiye, for the duration of the treatment, without the burden of financial strain. Our facility accommodates 45 people in 18 rooms, and offers a games room, computer room, kitchen and a dining hall ensuring that families have a comfortable place to call home.

With a deep commitment to fostering a sense of community and empathy, the House of Kindness Project provides a haven where families can find solace, connect with others facing similar challenges, and receive the support they need during this difficult time. By offering accommodation and sustenance, we aim to alleviate some of the stress associated with the financial and logistical aspects of cancer treatment, enabling families to remain united and focused on their child's healing journey. The Abdi İbrahim Foundation House of Kindness is located in Vefa due to the district's proximity to hospitals, and ease of transportation.

The House of Kindness Project exemplifies the Abdi Ibrahim Foundation's dedication to making a meaningful impact in the lives of those facing adversity. Through compassion, generosity, and a commitment to social responsibility, we strive to bring comfort and support to families, creating an environment where kindness prevails and hope flourishes.
