The Abdi İbrahim Foundation, through our social investment initiative titled “Health and Swimming,” proudly introduced the “Brave Strokes” social responsibility campaign, in collaboration with the Down Syndrome Association of Türkiye. The transformative power of sports inspired us to empower children with Down syndrome to unlock their potential and foster personal growth.

Recognizing the critical role of early engagement in sports, our project endeavors to impart swimming skills to children with Down syndrome, aged 5 to 9.

As part of our 2024 initiative, we have devised a comprehensive 16-week training curriculum, where skilled coaches facilitate children’s introduction to aquatic environments and nurture their acquisition of new abilities in a secure setting.

In celebration of their accomplishments, we awarded certificates to the children who completed the training, thereby preserving the cherished memories and milestones they achieved.

Having set out with the motto that the best journey begins with brave strokes, our commitment extends to ongoing investments in the future of both our children and our nation.
